Polar Bear Tennis Teams Recognized For Academic Excellence

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's and women's tennis teams were recognized for their work in the classroom in academic awards handed out by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Both teams earned the ITA's prestigious All-Academic team honor, recognizing programs that have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 and above. Additionally, five members of the women's team and eight members of the men's team collected ITA Scholar-Athlete status, honoring varsity letter winners who have at least a 3.5 GPA for the (2017-18) academic year.  

From the women's team Viv Daniel, Izzy Essi, Tasha Christ, Sarah Shadowens and Tess Trinka were named Scholar-Athletes. From the men's team Alan Delman, Luis Cuervo, Justin Patel, Aidan McGrory, Grant Urken, Gil Roddy, Luke Tercek and Kyle Wolfe were recognized.
