Men's Golf Ends Fifth at Rain-Shortened USM Fall Classic

GORHAM, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's golf team placed fifth of nine teams at the rain-shortened USM Fall Classic on Sunday.

Tournament Highlights

  • The Polar Bears shot a team total of 321 on Sunday before rain canceled day two of the tournament scheduled for Monday.
  • Bowdoin finished just three shots off of fourth-place Wentworth. Husson claimed first with a team score of 286 to win by 28 strokes.
  • Jackson Harrower again led the Polar Bears by shooting a 78 to finish in a tie for 14th place, followed by Tom Dunleavy and Tyler Chonoles who tied for 22nd with identical 80's.
  • Michael Donovan (30th, 83) and Eric Giesler (36th, 85) rounded out the Bowdoin entrants.
