Bowdoin Men's Lacrosse Well Represented at FIL World Championship

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Several members of the Bowdoin men's lacrosse family were featured prominently last month at the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championship in Israel.

Recent Bowdoin graduates Max Rosner '14 and Peter Mumford '17 both competed as participants, with Rosner playing for the Philippines National Team and Mumford for the Slovakian National Team. Additionally, Jan Flaska '96, served as the head coach for Slovakia while former Bowdoin assistant coach Max Silberlicht was the head coach for the Latvian National Team.

Rosner and the Philippine team enjoyed a fantastic tournament and finished tenth overall while Silberlicht and the Latvian squad placed 18th. Mumford, Flaska and Team Slovakia finished 23rd.
