Women's Golf Closes Campaign With Fifth-Place Showing at NESCAC's

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Bowdoin College women's golf team finished its fall season with a fifth-place finish at the 2018 NESCAC Women's Golf Championship last weekend, hosted by Middlebury College.

The Polar Bears totaled a two-day score of 795 on the Ralph Myhre Golf Course, finishing comfortably ahead of sixth-place Trinity by 32 strokes.

Tournament Highlights

  • Caroline Farber improved five strokes on day two of the tourney, carding an 83 – one of the top-ten rounds of the day – to finish with a two-day score of 171 and end in 15th place overall.
  • Emme McCabe shot Bowdoin's best round on Saturday (85) and ended in 21st with a final score of 177.
  • Haley Baldwin (28th, 210), Lindsey Bindra (33rd, 237) and Brynne Wicklund (37th, 264) rounded out the Bowdoin competitors at the championship.
