IWLCA Honors Women's Lacrosse For Academics

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association in their annual academic awards.

The Polar Bears were named a Division III Academic Honor Squad, surpassing the 3.0 GPA threshold for the 2017-18 academic year. Additionally five individuals were recognized as IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll honorees.

Paige Brown (Chemisty/Mathematics), Natalie Rudin (Sociology/Government & Legal Studies), Margaret Savage (Biology/Psychology), Leigh Fernandez (Hispanic Studies/Psychology) and Kayli Weiss (Environmental Studies-Sociology/Music) all surpassed the minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 as a junior and senior to collect the honor.

Bowdoin finished a fantastic 2018 campaign with a record of 14-6, advancing to the Third Round of the NCAA Division III Championship.
