BOZEMAN, Mont. – Five member of the Bowdoin Nordic skiing team competed in the NCAA Championship on Thursday afternoon.
The five Polar Bear contingent was the largest group of individual qualifiers the program has ever had for nationals.
- Elliot Ketchel was the top Polar Bear finisher, taking 17th place overall in the 10k skate. The junior finished 1:20.5 behind the first place finisher.
- In his first nationals appearance, Christian Gostout finished 28th in the competitive field. First-year Peter Moore finished two spots back of his teammate.
- On the women's side, Gabrielle Vandendries finished 26th and Renae Anderson was 37th.
