BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's squash team opened the 2020 calendar with a convincing 7-2 win over Mount Holyoke College on Friday afternoon.
The 27th-ranked Polar Bears improve to 4-3 this season with the victory.
- Tessa Frank led the way for Bowdoin with her first collegiate victory at the number nine position, rallying from an 0-2 deficit to win 6-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-3, 11-6.
- The Polar Bears swept positions 2-7 in the win, featuring six 3-0 wins to seal the overall victory.
- Clio Bersani, Ursula Sze, Melissa Horan, Sophie Barbie, Lucy Noel and Callie Burkhart accounted for the other Bowdoin victories.
- The Polar Bears will return to action with two matches on Saturday as they host Conn. College (11:00 a.m.) and Williams (6:00 p.m.)
