BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin sophomore Kate Fosburgh (Winchester, Mass.) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week.
Fosburgh had an outstanding first meet of the season against MIT and WPI. She won the 200 freestyle (1:57.31), finished second in the 100 freestyle (:54.01), and came right back for a lifetime best in the 100 butterfly (59.02). She also swam a strong second leg of the 400 freestyle relay (53.68).
The Polar Bears will return to the pool on December 6-7 when they host the Maine State Meet at Greason Pool.
